Hurricane Tomas in Haiti

The hurricane that recently hit Haiti devastated the country so much, mainly because the poor shape the country has been in. The earthquake that occurred last year is the reason for this. Disease has now broke out and the country is in a state of emergency. There aren't enough supplies to go around, and not enough support. One of the most difficult things for the Haitians to get is good, clean water.

  1. I so wish I wasn't in college when this happened. If I was able to I would of deployed there to help those who are unfortunate out. My dream in the army is to go to a third world country and save those in need. I am a humble individual and I believe going to a place like Hati when an event like this were to take place would be a memorable moment in my life. The people in Hati didn't deserve this and when I saw your post it caught my attention!

  2. I wish there was more we as a community meaning the whole United States could do yes we are donating money but have we recently no. When the hurricane hit everyone was tying to do something and donating money but now it is like the problem disappeared you never hear anything about it. I feel so heart sick for the families out there that are suffering but I am so fortunate to know that I have a great home and am so thankful for the things I do have. I wish I could go over and help but seeing that I have school and I need my education I really can't do that. This must be a very interesting/devastating research topic. The people of Haiti already had so little and were already struggling as a community the say life isn't fair is true and these people just didn't deserve this but it was a natural cause and there was nothing anyone could do.
